Prepare for a music movement like no other. Laneway is back in five venues.

Laneway has long been established in Australia and it returns with an exciting indie line-up for 2012. The historic sandstone buildings of Sydney's College of the Arts, the banks of Melbourne's Maribyrong River, the new expanded site at the University of South Australia, the lush grounds of the Perth Cultural Centre and the tree-lines laneways just within minutes from Brisbane CBD are the featured backdrops of next year's Laneway Festival.

The Laneway Festival began in 2004 when Danny Rogers and Jerome Borazio decided on including live music in one-of-a-kind settings to summer festivals in Melbourne. The first festival drew 1,400 attendees to St. Jerome's Bar at Melbourne's Caledonian Lane filled with awesome local music. From that blocked off laneway, the festival became a national event and a summer favorite for music-loving individuals.
