'Glee' creator gets 'mix tape' from Paul McCartney
"Glee" creator and director Ryan Murphy opened up about the music he received from Paul McCartney.
"I got a mixtape from Paul McCartney. A mixtape. With a little handwritten note from Sir Paul McCartney saying, 'Would you consider these songs for 'Glee'?' I grew up with that guy, so I was very overwhelmed."
He also confirmed they are working out scheduling details to get Susan Boyle on set for the show's Christmas Episode.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Murphy said "we talked about Kurt giving her a makeover for Christmas. That's his Christmas present to the world - makeovers. She's interested and we're interested. We're trying to figure out her schedule
Meanwhile, Spanish actor Javier Bardem may appear on 'Glee' if schedule allows it. Ryan explained that the Oscar-winning actor approached him with the idea of guest starring on the hit muscal show on Fox. He wanted to play "a rock 'n' roll star." Bardem stars in 'Eat Pray Love' which Murphy directed.
