'Glee' creator hints Javier Bardem guesting
Will Javier Bardem join "Glee"?
"Glee" creator and director Ryan Murphy told Access Hollywood that the Spanish actor is definitely in - if they can make schedules work. This despite a tweet from executive producer Danter Di Loreta suggesting that Bardem's casting on the show was just a hoperful rumor.
Ryan explained that the Oscar-winning actor approached him with the idea of guest starring on the hit muscal show on Fox. Javier wanted to play "a rock 'n' roll star."
Murphy reported that that Javier Bardem's guesting as a Spanish rock star might force Julia Robert to finally accede to a cameo guesting in "Glee" as the latter's wife "with one line."
He said that Robert signified that she is willing to appear on Murphy's show upon overhearing Bardem's insistence that he writes him a character with Robert as his wife. Julia Robert star in "Eat Pray Love" which Ryan Murphy directs with Javier Bardem as her leading man.
