GLEE: Gwyneth Paltrow to play Mr. Schuester's love interest
As Glee kicks off in the United States, fans have something more to rave about. Gwyneth Paltrow has joined Glee for two episodes. Gleeks will not wait for long to see Paltrow sing-and-dance as the episodes will reportedly air this November!
E! Online reported that very "strong" sources said Glee's newest addition Gwyneth Paltrow wiould play a substitute teacher to step in for Mr. Schuester, when the latter got sick.
Eventually, Mathew Morrison's character will fall in love with Paltrow, thus complicating his relationship with Emma, portrayed by Jayma Mays.
Ryan Murphy has reportedly created the character just for Gwyneth Paltrow, as the two are friends. E! Online says, "If it all comes together, Ryan will be directing her first episode, which begins shooting in two weeks."
Gwyneth Paltrow will also show her vocal powers in a new movie starring the Hollywood actress, Country Strong. Paltrow plays a country singer and wife to Tim McGraw in the series.The movie opens in theaters on December 22.
The second season of Glee begins airing tomorrow in the United States (September 21).
