Glee Season 2's Gwyneth Paltrow appearance "amazing," says Ryan Murphy
Gwyneth Paltrow's guest appearance in Glee: Season 2 is confirmed by no less than the show's creator Ryan Murphy. Murphy said that Paltrow's appearance is a "dream come true" for him.
Glee: Season 2 premiered strongly in the United States Tuesday night, and has its Britney Spears episode up for next week's episode. Murphy confesses that despite having a lot guest stars lined up for Glee: Season 2, he finds Paltrow's appearance as the most exciting.
Murphy said: "Gwyneth Paltrow is going to come and do an episode soon, which is amazing."
Ryan Murphy has reportedly created the character just for Gwyneth Paltrow, as the two are friends. E! Online says, "If it all comes together, Ryan will be directing her first episode, which begins shooting in two weeks."
Reports also said Glee Season 2's newest addition Gwyneth Paltrow would play a substitute teacher to step in for Mr. Schuester, when the latter got sick. Mathew Morrison's character will fall in love with Paltrow, complicating his relationship with Emma, portrayed by Jayma Mays.
Gwyneth Paltrow will also show her vocal powers in a new movie starring the Hollywood actress, Country Strong. Paltrow plays a country singer and wife to Tim McGraw in the series.The movie opens in theaters on December 22.
