After the airing of the season finale of "Glee," viewers are left wondering if there are some cast members who will not be joining the gang in the upcoming fifth season. Gleeks can rest assure that at least two actors are safe for another season.

Fans already know that the U.S. FOX TV show has been renewed for two more seasons, but what they don't know is if what's left for the New Directions after winning the coveted Regionals.

FOX Chairman Kevin Reilly recently said that fans will see a "creative twist" in the show, and that the fifth season will have a midseason break. They hope that the break will allow the show to return with an uninterrupted run.

It's still a big mystery whether the said creative twist" will see the New Directions heading to New York City. Reilly himself wasn't sure when he talked to the press in January if that was the right direction for the singing and dancing group. But that was when they were still negotiating for another season.

As for the casts, there are still others in the grey area. Brittany (Heather Morris) going to MIT, it's uncertain if she will return in the next season as a regular or perhaps just a guest star. Morris is reportedly pregnant in real life so that might explain why the TV bosses decided to send her off to MIT.

But while her future in the show is unclear, there's no doubt about Jane Lynch and Mike O'Malley's involvement.

Lynch, whose character Sue Sylvester has had a very busy fourth season, is confident that she will continue to play her track suit-wearing character.

"I know nothing about [season five], but I am going to be in it. I know that," she told eonline.com.

She also admitted that she has heard whispers of the NYC plotline, saying that some of the cast members might be heading that way.

"I love what they are doing with the New York story and I think some of the kids are probably going to be joining Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt (Chris Colfer), and Santana (Naya Rivera) in New York."

O'Malley, who plays Kurt's father Burt, meanwhile, has already signed on with another show ("Welcome to the Family" on NBC), but he said that doesn't deter him from returning to the show.

"I've already spoken to [show creators] Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, and Burt is a very, very big part of my life, playing that character I love doing it... I think we shoot some in July, so I'm definitely coming back next season!"
