"Glee" Season 5 spoilers hold a lot of promise for the avid viewers of the FOX comedy-cum-variety-show. American Idol alum Adam Lambert will perform with a series original cast, together with former X-Factor judge Demi Lovato. There might be a divorce on the horizon. On the bright side, there will be a much-anticipated Brittana reunion. What else can gleeky fans expect from New Directions and the gleeks in New York City in 2014?

Spoiler alert: This feature rounds-up the spoilers on Glee Season 5. All TV show scoop must be taken with a grain of salt.

Glee Season 5, Episode 9, "Frenemies," is the first gleek episode in 2014. It premieres on FOX on Feb. 25, as the show returns to a Tuesday timeslot. Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera) will perform a song by The Police, "Every Breath You Take."

Glee Season 5, Episode 10, "Trio," will set in motion some big changes in the show, including the departure of the former Ms Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays). Does Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) get a second divorce?

Jayma Mays has announced months ago that she will be leaving before Glee Season 5 ends. She said this exit was not her choice, but spilled no details on how she would be written out.

"We knew it was coming last year - some other characters will also be leaving this season," Mays told Metro.

Many fans are excited to watch "Trio" to see Adam Lambert and Demi Lovato perform with series regular Chris Colfer. This could be Demi's last appearance on Glee Season 5 although her contract originally included six episodes. The young pop diva has recently resigned from X-Factor to be "completely focused on her music." Adam, Demi, and Chris play Elliott, Dani, and Kurt, respectively.

So far, the best gleeky spoilers are about Glee Season 5, Episodes 11 and 12. Glee 5x11, "City of Angels," marks the New Directions L.A. trip for the Nationals. Dad Burt Hummel (Mike O'Malley) and Mum Carole Hudson-Hummel (Romy Rosemont) will be making an appearance here. Fans last saw them in a very emotional scene in Glee 5x3, "The Quarterback."

The New Directions will be up against a group called "Throat Explosion" at the Nationals in Los Angeles. "Pitch Perfect" star Skylar Astin will play Jean-Baptiste, the lead star of the competition.

Glee Season 5, Episode 12 is the 100th episode of the show. Based on the Feb. 25 winter premiere date, the special landmark episode could air on March 18. A lot of the original characters including Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron) and Heather Morris (Brittany S. Pierce) are coming back! The Brittana shippers could hardly wait to see this.
