Glee show creator Ryan Murphy said that Spanish actor Javier Bardem will play Sue Sylvester's former boyfriend on the show.

Sue Sylvester is played by Emmy-nominated Jane Lynch.

Javier Bardem worked with Murphy in thr Julia Roberts starrer "Eat Pray Love" which Murphy directed.

In recent Hollywood interviews, Ryan explained that the Oscar-winning actor approached him with the idea of guest starring on the hit muscal show on Fox. The Glee creator said Bardem wanted to play "a rock 'n' roll star."

At the red carpet of the 2010 Emmy Awards, Murphy said thay were also hoping Bardem will sing "Besame Mucho."

Speculations are now riped that Julia Roberts will tag along Bardem's guesting in a cameo role after Roberts reportedly agreed to play wife to Bardem's character.
