Glee star Lauren Potter got a heartwarming welcome on her landing in Australia. Qantas flight attendants delivered a Glee-style performance for the star on her flight before the landing.

The 24-year-old American actress, popularly known by her reel name Becky, is in Australia to attend e.motion21 Annual Dance Spectacular, which will be held in Melbourne. She is on an eight-day tour and will be co-hosting the event as well.

Herald Sun reported that two flight attendants surprised the young actress by performing 'Absolutely Everybody', which is also the theme song for the event. Their delivery was cheered on by the other fellow passengers who sang and clapped along.

The incident came as a breezy change amidst the controversy of baby Gammy being abandoned by his Australian parents with his surrogate mother because he was diagnosed with Down syndrome.

Emotion.21 is a non-profit organization that is working for people with Down syndrome by providing dance and fitness programs. It works for both kids and adults, as well as aspires to change the public's perception towards Down syndrome and involve those afflicted in the society.

The actress is a perfect example as she is also suffering from such condition. However, she continuously goes through her life with passion and determination to succeed. As per the CEO and founder of the organization, Potter is the perfect example of what people with Down syndrome can achieve if given the right opportunities.

Potter has also been appointed by U.S. President Barack Obama to his Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities. Her role granted her the chance to voice out the issues and concerns of people like her and convey their needs to the White House. She has undoubtedly become a true inspiration for people with disabilities.

"When I was young, I dreamed of being an actress but loads of people told me I couldn't", told the actress to the organization. "I learned to ignore those people and listened to others, like my family, who told me I could."
