'Glee' star Lea Michele apparently does not need to look far for inspiration when playing the character of ambitious and uptight Rachel Berry. She is reportedly almost exactly like her!

According to a source, the 23-year-old is a diva on the set of the Fox show, which airs on Thursday at 8pm on Ten.

"Lea acts like she's better than the rest of the cast. But the thing is, she legitimately is," tells a source to American magazine Us Weekly. Another source on set reveals that though New York-born Michele has her moments, "She's sweet".

"She has very clear ideas about what she wants to do and how she wants to look. I think she's just Type-A, like her character," explains the source.

Not surprising especially since Michele has admitted in previous interviews that she draws inspiration from another Type-A character, Tracy Flick, played by Academy-Award winner Reese Witherspoon, from the movie 'Election'.

Michele, who gained considerable fame playing the lead in musical 'Spring Awakening', has always dreamed of being a star and in a typically Hollywood move, even adheres to a vegan diet.

Despite everything, one of the hardest working television casts in showbiz has bonded dearly over their 14-hour working days.

"We've become so close," said Dianna Agron, 24, who plays pregnant ex-cheerleader Quinn Fabray. "We're like a family."

In other 'Glee' news, John Stamos, who played Uncle Jessie in 'Full House', is reportedly in talks to guest star in the second season of the series as a love interest for Ms Pillsbury, played by Jayma Mays.
