Glee’s Lea Michele Slowly Moving on After Cory's Death by Focusing on Upcoming Debut Album
"Glee" actress Lea Michele is said to be slowly moving on after her boyfriend Cory Monteith's death on July 13, 2013 by focusing on finishing her upcoming debut album.
Many people say one of the best ways to move on after a loved one's loss is to stay busy. And Lea is doing just that. A few days after the heart-wrenching "Glee" Tribute episode in honor of her beloved Cory, Lea shared on Twitter some pictures of her album cover photo shoot.
She tweeted some photos of herself during the shoot. Shot by photographer Peggy Sirota and styled by celebrity stylist Estee Stanley, Lea posed in some sexy shots.
"I'm so excited for u guys to hear my album. It's so special to me. Im so grateful for u all. Thank u for giving me so much love & support❤," she posted.
She thanked the entire team who helped her in the photo shoot, especially Sirota and her glam squad. Her hairstylists were Mark Townsend and Katie Neutz. Her makeup artist was Melanie Inglessis. In fact, she even included her glam squad in one of the pictures she posted.
According to a close friend of Lea, "she still misses him every day." "She talks about Cory all the time."
"She really struggled," said another close pal. "It was hard to get up every morning. But now, she's doing okay."
She has even posted some pictures of her and Cory during happier times on her Instagram account. She's asking her fans to help support Chrysalis LA, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to assist low-income and homeless individuals to be self-sufficient by finding them jobs and helping them to retain their employment. The couple supported the said organization.
Lea's friends, including her costars in "Glee," have been really instrumental in helping her come to terms with her loss. She turns to them for emotional support and company because she reportedly doesn't like to be alone.
Still, it would take some time before Michele dates another guy. After her relationship with Cory which lasted for more than two years, the last thing on her mind is dating. That's why her main focus right now is her upcoming debut album and spending time with her friends.
