Dubbed as the most "terrifying force of nature," Gozilla is making it to the big screen after 15 years since its first debut in 1998. The upcoming science fiction monster film recently revealed its heart-stopping trailer directed by Gareth Edwards.

This is the second Godzilla movie that is filmed by an American studio. The first one was in 1998 that starred Matthew Broderick and Jean Reno. Based on the Japanese film monster of the same name, Godzilla stars "Breaking Bad" Stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Sally Hawkins, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn and Asian Superstar Ken Watanabe.

The film's new theatrical trailer features David Strathairn as he prepares his men for a HALO drop, "high-altitude, low-open" drop, into burning cityscape that's been torn apart the skyscraper-sized beast. The trailer takes it audience to first-person perspective shot through the HALO jumper's face mask, a bird's eye view of the hellish destruction of the great beast.

The trailer will make the audience feel how insignificant human size is compared to Godzilla, and the beast can easily chomped any humans to pieces without feeling any remorse. The estimate for this film is a whopping $160 million. Legendary has financed 75% of the cost while the 25% of the budget is shouldered by Warner Brothers Pictures.

The new Godzilla look, "iguana-like creature," was copied from its original 1954 film. For Legendary Pictures CEO Thomas Tull the new film intends to do justice to the original film and will include the essential elements that will allow the character to remain relevant for as long as it has.

"An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence," Legendary Pictures said.

The first trailer of the film was released Dec. 10 and within two days the trailer surpassed nine millions views on YouTube. The new Godzilla film is set for released on May 16, 2014.
