Gold Coast Mayor Demands Removal of Justin Bieber’s Graffitti in Australian 5-Star Hotel Wall [WATCH]
Justin Bieber's Bodyguard Caught on Camera Threatening Paparazzis in Sydney, Australia
Gold Coast mayor, Tom Tate is demanding that Justin Bieber remove the graffiti he and his entourage had spray painted at an exclusive hotel at Surfers Paradise.
Mayor Tate has called on the pop singer to clean up the cartoon faces he and his group had left at the wall of QT Hotel in Gold Coast. The local official noted that all is set for the clean-up.
Should the “Love Me” singer fail to come back and remove the graffiti, Tate offered an alternative for the pop singer. He said that Justin could sing for the mayoral carols in December.
"Just come and clean it up and we'll be happy with you. Alternatively come and sing at our mayoral Christmas carols on the seventh of December for an hour and I'll let you go,” Tate was quoted as telling Nine Network in an interview by The Australian.
Tate who earlier described Justin’s handiwork as “eyesore,” reiterated that the action was "really, really silly," referring to the cartoon faces in fluorescent paint Justin and crew drew on the hotel wall.
The Gold Coast mayor pointed out that Bieber even admitted to the graffiti by sharing images on his Twitter account.
"He's admitted to it. He's gone onto his Twitter site and uploaded the shots. It's disrespectful to be doing graffiti, but to boast about it on social media is just taking it to another level,” Tate continued, said The Australian.
"If a normal person did that they'd be serving 80 to 100 hours of community service.”
Meanwhile, Bieber and his group has also been involved in a confrontation with local paparazzis.
The Canadian teen’s bodyguard was caught on camera threatening to knife the tires of the car used by paparazzis tailing the singer’s entourage in Sydney, Australia.
The video of the Canadian singer’s security personnel getting off the car and making the threats to the paps, emerged online.
A look at the video showed that Bieber’s convoy was seen pulling over in hopes to stop the paps following Beiber Down Under on Thursday, Nov. 28.
The footage also revealed that the bodyguard kicked the car door in more than one occasion, even threatened to slash the car tires if it continued to follow Selena Gomez’s ex.
According to TMZ, there was a heated exchange between Bieber’s bodyguard and the paparazzis who refused to go anywhere but near the singer.
"He just kicked the door," the paps said, according to TMZ.
The paparazzi apparently also informed the bodyguard countless times that the camera was rolling and he was being filmed.
"You're on camera buddy, it's on camera," the cameraman was heard talking to Bieber’s bodyguard while filming the whole incident, according to the Daily Telegraph Australia.
"You'll turn this into a good story" added another man from the paparazzi’s car.
TMZ also noted that the bodyguard indeed slashed his tires but it was not shown in the video. Bieber was also never seen in the clip.
Justin is currently in Australia for the final leg of his “Believe” tour. His first stop Down Under was in Brisbane on Nov. 27 where he kicked off the first of his eight shows in Australia.
Bieber performed before a sold-out crowd in Brisbane, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
