The Wintersun bandwagon's event in Coolangatta yesterday was still a success although their were uncertainties about the festival's relocation next year.

Brisbane-based performer Leisa Kerris, who has attended the last nine festivals, performed for the nostalgic audience in the final Wintersun in the Gold Coast.

Ms Kerris said though she loved Wintersun and all it stood for, she was a little doubtful about its relocation to Port Macquarie in 2011.

"I don't really know that much about the move but we'll have to see what happens," she said.

"It is a bit scary really.

"I think Coolangatta is just such gorgeous location with the beaches and the park and the main street."

Ms Kerrison said she wanted to make the most of her last Wintersun in Coolangatta.

"There's still a great atmosphere and you can se the crowd is starting to build," she said.

"I guess as long as I keep playing the rocky, nostalgic tunes, people will be happy."

Wintersun festivites continue today with a string of performances to be held at Tweed-Coolangatta venues.
