Red ruled over the red carpet earlier as stars arrived in dashing red ensembles that truly describe their A-list status in Hollywood and television. Claire Danes, who won Best Actress for playing Homeland's agent Carrie Mathison for the second time, looked sexy in a red Versace halter gown. Co-best actress winner, Jennifer Lawrence, gleamed in a Chritian Dior red strapless gown. If anything, red proved to be a lucky color for these two actresses who took home awards.

Another stunner in red was Zooey Deschanel, who wore a sweetheart neck Oscar Dela Renta ball gown. Jennifer Garner was also in red, donning a strapless Vivienne Westwood textured gown.
