The 2016 Golden Globes ceremony is underway at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The 73rd Golden Globe Awards ceremony will be broadcast on NBC after the hour-long 2016 Golden Globe Arrivals Special on Sunday. For the fourth time, actor-comedian Ricky Gervais has returned to host the show.

The nominees were voted by journalists in the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The Golden Globe awards honour the best in film and television from the previous year.
