Only three players have been able to win back-to-back Master in the history of the sport. Australian Adam Scott will have the chance to achieve that rare feat and at the 2014 Masters at Augusta set from April 10 to 13.

He’s joined by compatriot Jason Day as two of the top favourites who are pegged to wear the green jacket in 2014 along with Phil Mickelson and Rory Mcilroy.

Recent form has confirmed why t these names are the favourites. McIlroy was a runner-up at the Honda Classic; Scott was third at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.Day won the Match Play Championship and Mickelson is a three-time Masters champion.

The most curious omission from the list is Tiger Woods, who will miss the tournament because of a back injury. Without Woods, this year’s race has been dubbed as the most open in recent memory and the betting lines reflect that.
