"Good Charlotte" will rock the house at the AFL Grand Final Footy Show on Thursday at 8:30 pm on Channel 9.
The "Good Charlotte" singer, Joel Madden, has already charmed the Australian viewers with his down-to-earth attitude together with his guest-mentor brother Benji on "The Voice Australia." The 33-year old judge also confirmed that he will return for next year's second season of the TV reality show.
The AFL Footy Show is reportedly a whole new experience for the rock group "Good Charlotte." "I have watched The Footy Show. I like it. I think it's really funny. Those guys are hilarious. I feel like we have a lot in common because we like to have a good time," Joel Madden shared.
"I've just started getting into AFL. I haven't been to a game yet but I've been watching it a bit on TV. For an American, it is a little difficult to understand but slowly and surely I'll get it. I do not have a team yet. I'm going to make that decision when I feel like I know the game better," the rock singer further added. Joel Madden became a big fan of Australia as well as his wife Nicole Richie. It even reached to the point that he would want to move his family and live Down Under.
Being a part of "The Voice Australia" has probably been one of the best experiences that Joel Madden ever had. "I expected it to be fun but it ended up being a life-changing experience for me. I made friends with the other coaches that will last forever," the judge shared.
It also became another fun experience for Joel Madden to have a chance working with his brother Benji on the talent search TV show.
"We have a good time. We fight a lot but that's to be expected. We understand each other and we can be honest with each other. You're getting the truth and you're getting it straight," Joel revealed.
Meanwhile, the Madden brothers talked about what will be their music plans over the next 12 months. Joel and Benji Madden are reportedly working on a record right now which will be finished by the end of the year.
"We're going to tour that. We will probably start making another Good Charlotte record at the end of next year or the year after," Joel Madden added.
