"The Good Wife" Season 5, Episode 10, "The Decision Tree" aired Sunday night (Dec. 1) on the U.S. network CBS. Something happened at the end of the show's 100th episode which made many viewers ask, "Is Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) the baby daddy of that ethics person Marilyn Garbanza?" Meanwhile, the audience finally sees a volatile and vulnerable Will Gardner (Josh Charles).

Australian actress Melissa George ("Home and Away") has been an interesting addition to The Good Wife Season 5 cast as Ethics Strategist Marilyn Garbanza. Peter Florrick, who is thrilled by his wife Alicia's (Julianna Marguiles) decision to leave Lockhart Gardner, could be the father. He is that kind of man, after all. But do viewers have enough to jump at such an explosive conclusion this soon?

In "Decision Tree," Alicia Florrick nearly got an inheritance amounting to 12 million dollars. Will Gardner diagrams a decision tree in his head while struggling with the memories of his former dalliance with Alicia. The Good Wife herself remembers the same bed stories in Will's mind. They were at the peak of their affair when a certain decision was made. She is seen giving a look that suggests she is remembering those times with utter fondness.

At the Florrick Agos firm's holiday celebration, Marilyn and Eli (Alam Cumming) are in attendance with Alicia's mom (Stockard Channing) and Peter's mom (Mary Beth Peil). Things seem to be looking good for a higher position for Peter in 2016. And then a question was raised on how will Marilyn call her bun in the oven. She answers, "Peter." Eli spews out his booze. It can't be. Unfortunately, spoilers are scarce on this issue.

The Good Wife Season 5 and CBS are not revealing any answers soon. The series has gone in hiatus for the winter.

Meanwhile, Nathan Lane (Clarke Hayden) debuts as a litigator in The Good Wife Season 5. The 100th worked beautifully for the character who saved (still saving) the Florrick Agos firm.

Also notable in The Good Wife Season 5, Episode 10 is Damian Boyle (Jason O'Mara). He has led Kalinda Sharma (Archie Panjabi) to a little fun, but she couldn't be thrilled that she's been outwitted. Viewers are expecting more of Damian vs Kalinda in the next episodes.

The Good Wife Season 5, Episode 11 air date has yet to be announced. The series is likely to return in early 2014.
