"The Good Wife" Season 6, Episode 3, titled "Dear God" airs Sunday, Oct. 5 on CBS. Viewers get to watch Taye Diggs and Julianna Margulies in this week's new episode.
Spoiler alert: This feature contains spoilers on previously aired episodes of The Good Wife Season 6. If you have not watched the first two episodes, read at your own risk.
Watch the promo video below to see Taye Diggs and Julianna Margulies in a scene together. Diggs plays Dean, a Lockhart Gardner recruit who follows Diane Lockhart to Florrick Agos (with Lockhart as the new named partner).
Toward the end of The Good Wife Season 6, Episode 2, Diane Lockhart bids farewell to the firm she has built from the ground up. David Lee may have not seen it coming, but Lockhart takes with her several of the firm's department heads, including his own protégés.
Michael J. Fox, who plays Louis Canning, is a no-show in The Good Wife Season 6, Episode 2, but his character is expected to react to the recent events in the episode.
Meanwhile, Eli Gold is still trying to convince Mrs Florrick to run for the state attorney's office. Alicia, though determined to quash the idea, inadvertently shows a hint of interest in the post. Viewers saw this hint when Robyn asked Alicia point blank if she were really not interested in being the State's Attorney.
In a scene with White House adviser Valerie Jarrett (who guest starred as herself in The Good Wife Season 6, Episode 2), Alicia seems to have been struck by something that Ms Jarrett said, particularly about her hating politics.
"The last person I'd vote for is someone who liked politics - we have enough politicians," Jarrett told Alicia.
Cary Agos is finally out of jail, thanks to the bail that Alicia has put up. Cary does not support the idea of Lochkart stepping in, but majority of the firm voted in favour of the new partner. Cary has yet to confront Kalinda about her deceit, but for now, they all have to overcome the drug issue cast on the firm because of Mike Colter's Lemond Bishop.
In the promo below, Margulies' Alicia Florrick reveals to Taye Diggs' Dean that she does not believe in God. The scene hints of more revelations between the two characters, as viewers warm up to Dean as a new character in the show.
