"The Good Wife" Season 6, Episode 4, titled "Oppo Research," airs this Sunday on CBS. Eli Gold seems to have succeeded in convincing Alicia Florrick to run for State's Attorney. Spoilers reveal the actor playing the role of a campaign specialist.

"David Krumholtz is joining CBS' [The Good Wife Season 6] in the potentially recurring role of Josh, a top campaign specialist hired by Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) manager, Jonathan (Steven Pasquale)," TVLine reported. The same report dished details on Josh's campaign style.

"One part Hollywood and two parts political, Josh is known as a master of negative campaigning," the report added. Viewers would see how his style is different from Eli Gold's (Alan Cumming). Josh is likely to be a part of The Good Wife Season 6, Episode 4.

"Alicia explores the option of running for State's Attorney. To help her decide, Eli brings in a respected campaign manager," reads the synopsis of The Good Wife Season 6, Episode 4 on TV.com.

Incumbent James Castro (Michael Cerveris) - the way he has clashed with Alicia (most recently bringing up the name of Will Gardner to intimidate her) is one of the reasons why Mrs Florrick has gone to Eli to finally ask, "If I ran, what's the plan?" This is the final act in Revenge Season 6, Episode 3 ("Dear God").

The encouraging words of White House adviser Valerie Jarrett (who has a cameo appearance in The Good Wife Season 6, Episode 2) and women's liberation icon Gloria Steinem (who guest stars in Episode 3) have also made quite an impact on Alicia Florrick.

Meanwhile, Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski), David Lee (Zach Grenier), and Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) have yet to face off again after her leaving the firm with several department heads. The drug case against Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry) is still on, and Kalinda Sharma (Archie Panjabi) has yet to hear from Cary about what he saw on the live video stream.

More stories are developing on The Good Wife Season 6, which also stars Chris Noth as Illinois Governor Peter Florrick. Josh Charles is still a part of the CBS series, even after the death of Will Gardner. TVLine reports Josh has taken on a directorial role.

Stockard Channing is back as Veronica Loy in The Good Wife Season 6, Episode 4. Issues with Owen Cavanaugh (Dallas Roberts) and Zach Florrick (Graham Phillips) are also brought up in connection to "skeletons" in Alicia's closet.

The Good Wife airs Sundays on CBS.
