“The Good Wife” Season 6 has an active storyline on Archie Panjabi, who is set to leave the CBS series at the end of the season. Panjabi’s Kalinda Sharma is in deep trouble. Meanwhile, Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) are changing their relationship dynamic yet again.

Spoiler alert: This update contains “The Good Wife” Season 6 spoilers. Read on at your own risk.

“The Good Wife” Season 6, episode 19 aired Sunday, April 12, on CBS. This weekend’s new episode is called “Loser Edit.” Diane (Christine Baranski) learns about the fake metadata evidence from Kalinda and realises she could be disbarred.

David Lee (Zach Grenier) and Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry) support Diane and Kalinda in “The Good Wife” Season 6, episode 19. Cary tells Geneva Pine (Renée Elise Goldsberry) he would testify against Bishop to keep Kalinda safe.

On Twitter, Archie Panjabi has been posting her BTS (behind-the-scene) photos with the show’s crew, saying her Kalinda farewell early to her followers. She also posted a photo of her and Matt Czuchry, hinting they are about to film their final scene in “The Good Wife” Season 6.

Panjabi’s exit from “The Good Wife” develops just a year after one of the show’s pioneering actors left. Josh Charles’ Will Gardner dies in “Dramatics, Your Honor,” which aired in March 2014 on CBS. It remains unclear whether Kalinda dies or simply leaves for character closure.

Meanwhile, Alicia finds herself crying in Peter’s arms at the end of “The Good Wife” Season 6, episode 19. Betrayed by her legal counsel Spencer Randolph (Ron Rifkin), Alicia realizes she has yet to fully discover how dirty and dark politics can get.

In a recent episode, Alicia and Peter both drink calmly while discussing her affair with Will and his philandering ways. They are both surprised to be acting so calm after all their shouting matches. Peter says this may be their version of a mature relationship.

Alicia is forced by her party to vacate the State Attorney’s office. This would prevent the election fraud scandal from getting to a party-mate senator. Peter backs Alicia when she refuses to back down; in the end, he could only provide a comforting embrace.

“The Good Wife” Season 6, episode 20, is called “The End.” The series skips a week on CBS; the next new episode will air on April 26.
