'The Good Wife' season 7 episode 10 spoilers: Ruth stops at nothing to separate Alicia and Jason

In the next episode of the hit CBS drama "The Good Wife," tensions rise as the campaign to get Peter into the presidency heats up, and Jason and Alicia are closer than ever. [Spoiler Alert!]

The official description of episode 10, titled “KSR,” states that Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Lucca (Cush Jumbo) will defend a well-respected surgeon who was accused of plotting to commit a crime, Spoilers Guide reports. Ruth also plans to remove Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) from Alicia’s life by attempting to persuade Courtney Paige (Vanessa Williams) to hire him to do business in another state.

In the previous episode, Ruth Eastman (Margo Martindale) was beginning to get suspicious of Alicia’s relationship with Jason. Later, Ruth became desperate to protect Alicia and Peter’s (Chris Noth) reputation by showing the public that their relationship is solid. However, she can only do that by trying to get Jason as far away from Alicia as possible.

Although Alicia and Peter agreed to move in together to improve their public appeal, the former continues to flirt with Jason. Ruth will be desperate to take out Jason from the picture to avoid jeopardising Peter’s campaign. Eli (Alan Cumming) and Ruth have long been concerned about Alicia’s relationship with Jason.

It also appears that Courtney will also take Ruth’s advice, since she also has an interest in Peter’s campaign and would greatly benefit if he wins the presidency. It is still uncertain what offer Courtney will have for Jason, but it is expected to be huge, considering the former’s resources and connections. Jason may have to make a crucial decision between romance and a successful career. If he picks a new job, Alicia will definitely be affected emotionally and find herself alone again.

CarterMatt reveals that Season 7 episode 10 of “The Good Wife” is the show's last for 2015 before the winter break. The episode might also be the most sophisticated based on the events in recent episodes. The ending will reportedly be very interesting or be even a cliffhanger to leave fans excited about the following events. Most likely, Jason might stay despite Ruth’s attempts, since the new episodes would lose spark if he would just disappear immediately.
