'The Good Wife' season 7 episode 15 recap: Alicia and Jason get intimate in 'Targets'
In Season 7 Episode 15 of “The Good Wife,” Alicia (Julianna Margulies) was tasked to work for the US government. She and Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) also slept together for the first time.
Alicia received a call to become a legal adviser for the government who plans to kill an ISIS operative who is also an American citizen. She was asked whether it was legal to kill the target.
Alicia voted in favor of killing the ISIS recruiter. To get more information about the man, Alicia temporarily withdrew her vote for a targeted strike.
Back at Lockhart, Agos and Lee, there was some fear that Diane (Christine Baranski) was planning to turn the law firm into an all-female group during a magazine photoshoot. Jason Crouse was asked to investigate and learn more about Diane’s plans.
Eli (Alan Cumming) in the meantime was busy trying to discover why the FBI is watching Peter (Chris Noth) closely. Eli initially hired a lawyer, who later found that she had conflict of interest with an existing client. After she quit, Eli hired the first lawyer’s ex-husband to look for her client list, which showed that the client with a conflict of interest is a dairy farmer who supported Peter’s campaign and hired Eli’s daughter in Israel before. It is still uncertain how the connection may play out in future episodes.
Back at her office, Alicia and Jason spent some time together and ended up having sex for the first time. Subsequently, they talked about their relationship. Crouse seemed to be falling in love with Alicia, and is worried that she is still married. She responded by talking dirty to Jason.
The CIA was also spying on Alicia for meeting with an international hacker in the past. Afterwards, Alicia was confronted for allegedly leaking information, although the CIA is aware that she did not. At the end of episode, one of the CIA operatives who spied on her was asked about the same leak.
“The Good Wife” Season 7 will air next on Mar. 6 on CBS in the U.S. and on Channel Ten in Australia.
