‘The Good Wife' season 7 episode 6 spoilers: Eli will do everything to take down Alicia and Peter in “Lies”

Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies), Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) have been working very well together in Season 7 of “The Good Wife.” As long as they continue brainstorming, they are able to accomplish several great things in their law practice. The three are expected to continue on their healthy relationship on Episode 6, titled, “Lies.”

In the previous episode, the story delved much on a student-loan debt. The plot showed the excellent relationship between the trio.

Spoilers Guide reveals that Alicia and Lucca will handle a client, who used to be a lawyer for a tech company, but was fired for allegedly failing a polygraph test. They will have to prove that the client is innocent, as well as deal with Eli Gold (Alan Cumming).

Eli is planning to divulge information that might destroy Peter’s (Chris Noth) presidential campaign, at the same time, ruining Alicia’s reputation. In the promo video, Eli was said to be willing to sink lower as much as the Florricks attempted to go up.

Eli was featured having a meal with Ruth (Margo Martindale), Peter’s campaign operative. The two are talking, although it appears that Eli will also be going after Ruth, instead of trying to collaborate with her. Ruth will even try to convince Eli that they could win if they worked together as a team, but it is clear that the latter is not interested and will do everything until the couple is beneath him.

However, Alicia will be ready for the campaign expert’s schemes. Alicia will let him know that she is aware of his actions, and he will be surprised at her remarks. Alicia will most likely have a number of surprises for Eli to keep him from sabotaging the presidential campaign.

Based on the title, Cartermatt writes that there might be a problem or more coming up. Most likely, “Lies” refers to Eli and his evil plans to topple Alicia and Peter. With Alicia’s recent realizations, Eli’s position may soon be coming to an end.

More revelations and exposures are expected to come out in the new episode. “The Good Wife” Season 7 Episode 6 will air on Nov. 8 at 9:30 PM ET on CBS.
