“The Good Wife” Season 7 finale is closing in, and Julianna Margulies is making sure she would give fans a nice farewell through her Facebook page. Recently, the actress posted a photo of herself with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, announcing to fans that Jason Crouse has filmed his final scenes in the series.

Spoiler alert: This update contains “The Good Wife” Season 7 spoilers. Details include the highlights of the most recent episodes.

In “The Good Wife” Season 7, Episode 18 (“Unmanned”), Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) and Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) figure out further where they stand in each other’s lives. They are not letting Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) get in their way, even if Jason’s faith actually aligns with the Greek Orthodox.

Some fans are convinced that Crouse is the best man to ever be romantically associated to Alicia. It is possible that the couple would have some sort of a happy ending. In her caption, Julianna said Morgan is the "best guy ever." (See Julianna’s Facebook post here.)

“[‘The Good Wife’ Season 7] is not on this Sunday, but we are working hard to finish the series right!! Cush and I ‘working hard,’ Julianna posted on her Facebook page during the drama’s short break. The series returns with a fresh episode this Sunday on CBS.

This weekend’s new “The Good Wife” episode (“Landing”) centres on the usual case of the week, Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) and her husband Kurt McVeigh (Gary Cole); and Peter Florrick’s next move.

As the seventh season ender is also the series finale, fans are bracing themselves for some emotional developments. Julianna Margulies already has at least one spectacular scene for the Emmys this season, as in the one where she explodes to Lucca (Cush Jumbo). She could have more moments toward the series ending.

Julianna has yet to announce what’s next for her after “The Good Wife.” IMDB.com shows the actress has focused on the series since 2009.
