Google Like A Boss, Run Browsers Faster With Multiple Tabs And More Tech Tips
Google has virtually become everyone's online best friend. But not everyone knows how to maximize search engine to its full potential. Maecy Espiritu from the Philippines made an infographic on some advanced tricks in using Google, with the help of punctuation marks.
Speaking of Google, its homegrown browser Chrome has become the browser of choice for many, alongside Mozilla's Firefox, because of its tab browsing ability. But users observe that opening multiple tabs slows down the performance, not only of the browser, but also of the computer and Internet connection.
Lifehack's Jill Harness suggests downloading Too Many Tabs, an add-on available for Firefox and Chrome for managing multiple tabs. One chooses the tabs to be placed into the suspended tabs bin where it stays there until the user takes it out the bin to access it again.
Users find this add-on convenient because this way, they need not to exit idle tabs just to speed up their browser, and then load it again once they need it. Those who are fond of opening many tabs cannot afford not to put this add-on in their browser.

From one browser add-on to another, this time for Facebook fans. Freeware site CNET recommends PhotoLive, a browser add-on that lets Facebook users download all the photos in an album and store them in a .zip file, which can be downloaded and extracted afterward.
The add-on is very useful for those who want their own copy of photos uploaded in a friend's album, and those who want a back-up of these photos. Because the resulting file is in a .zip format, hard disk space would not be much of a problem unless all the photo files are extracted later on.
