Google Nexus 5 Running Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie in October 2013 with Similar Design Concept to LG Optimus G2?
LG made huge success with their collaboration on making Nexus 4 but since then, the two companies decided to separate ways as LG distances from Nexus 5. However, a leak of Nexus 5 manual coming from LG brings a glimpse of how the next-gen Nexus phone will look like.
Leaked Manual of Nexus 5?
According to TechThirsty, a new manual leaked from LG and gives out a pretty good idea how the Nexus 5 will look like. Under the code name "LG G2", the manual showed interesting design angles of Nexus 5.
Located at the rear of the phone are the camera and volume keys which are normally separated from each other. In between these keys lay a biometric scanner used for fingerprint scanning to enhance security level. Aside from that, Nexus 5 will likely to have 5.2-inch of full HD 1080p display, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core CPU, 3GB of RAM for multi-tasking and running Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
Some of these specifications are already revealed and currently used by LG Optimus G2 which points out that Nexus 5 is going to have similar specs upon release. Google and LG haven't confirmed any of information revealed by the leak.
LG Optimus G2 was released in August 7, 2012 while Google Nexus 5 is expected to be launched on October 2013 together with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
Removable Battery Importance
Some users need extra battery especially during long travels but the Nexus 4 offered a non-removable battery - defying traditional feature on Android devices. Lots of discussion flowed in the Internet requesting removable battery pack for the next-generation Nexus 5 but Google has nothing to say yet.
For now, the possible solution in case of the non-removable battery in Nexus 4 is to buy external battery cases from ZeroLemon. The accessory will add more juice to the smartphone with a downside of making Nexus 4 turn into a monster size device, eliminating the sleek and sexy design.
Nexus 4 features 2100 mAh battery unit and enthusiasts are expected that Google will improve it by delivering 3000 mAh battery pack for Nexus 5 - similar power level of Optimus G2.
