Speculations about the Moto X Phone, the supposedly smartphone from Google (GOOG) continue to persist throughout the market. The stale sales from HTC and Samsung offers a way for competitors now to come in and Google might just have the right product to satisfy this drought for Android.

The market has gone into a frenzy discussing the specifications of the Google's phone. Even the name became the subject of many reports and online posts. Speculations suggest that the new phone will be called Moto X. Other rumored names include Droid Maxx and Droid Ultra.

Reports also say Motorola will be offering a GSM version for carries like T-Mobile, AT&T and to different markets across the globe.

Specs reported include lightweight carbon-fiber back cover which consumers can choose to personalize and engrave with whatever they want. People are also saying that Motorola might be offering a range of colors for the outer shell. This gives consumers more liberty to choose the type of design and hardware attachments that come along with their phone.

Google and Motorola has not confirmed anything yet despite the number of pictures floating around. Analysts say this is possible as Motorola will be manufacturing everything about the phone in the United States.

Given that Motorola will allow people to personalize their smartphones then Android will to greater extents than ever. The company can differentiate itself from the rest of the offerings on the market. This will appeal to the interest of people allowing Motorola to carve a niche for their line of smartphones.

However, analysts also express their concerns about other spec leaks. Google has to come up with something groundbreaking aside from customized smartphones to stay afloat the competition. Each smartphone offering on the market has something different to offer, some even being the world's fastest, thinnest, etc. There are still no details about Moto X along those lines.
