Gossip Girl Season 6 Spoilers: A wedding, a memorial, and a long good-bye? [VIDEO]
Spoiler alert!
Gossip Girl Season 6 preview is out on YouTube. Fans have caught a glimpse of what awaits them when the series returns for its final installment in October. Spoilers circulating across new outlets indicate there will be a wedding and a funeral, among other things. Are you ready for what appears to be a long good-bye?
One of the early edition spoilers has hinted a wedding will happen on Gossip Girl Season 6, with the "suspects" being Blair and Chuck. However, at the recently released preview, the gang seems to be crashing a wedding. What could be going on?
Michael Ausiello of TVLine has previously hinted that something would happen at the Humphrey household. The good news is, viewers would find this out on the season premiere.
"Dan's going to need a place to crash when he returns home from Europe... Blair, meanwhile, lives in a huge apartment with plenty of spare bedrooms... Staying at the Humphrey loft in Brooklyn will not be an option, for reasons that will become clear in the premiere."
So, there will be some kind of reconciliation or truce between Dan and Blair early on in the season. Now, what could be happening at the Humphreys'?
Ausiello later scooped the events that would happen in Gossip Girl Season 6, but he made a "foiler" claim.
Here are what you will see on Gossip Girl Season 6, with a foiler included: fashion show, Thanksgiving dinner, out-of-town horse show, art show, Jenny's memorial service, the opening of a pop-up store, and a cotillion. (Un/fortunately, Jenny's memorial is the foiler, Ausiello revealed.)
With all the events about to unfold, it looks like GG show runners will not disappoint in giving a long flashy goodbye to fans who have followed the series right from the beginning. It will be a long good-bye, but it will make the fans smile.
Meanwhile, the female leads of the series, Leighton Meester and Blake Lively have been busy moving forward as they close the GG chapter in their lives. Meester is now busy promoting her new film "The Oranges," while just-married Lively is probably adjusting to the life of Mrs Ryan Reynolds.
