James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) deal with a killer that "targets Gotham elite's firstborn children" in Gotham 1x6.
This case "brings back painful memories for Bullock," reads the episode synopsis on TV.com. It continues, "Elsewhere, Gordon is forced to deal with the consequences of his past decisions."
Gordon is not only allied -despite his unwillingness - to Penguin aka Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor). He is now an official frenemy of Mafia lord Salvatore Maroni (David Zayas). This develops when Penguin gets Gordon involved in his bid to convince Maroni of his intentions in Gotham Season 1, Episode 5 ("Viper").
So far, so good for Penguin. He has a vision for hellish Gotham and he is getting what he wants. With the schemes he has been orchestrating, Gordon and Bullock would have more crimes to solve. But first, Bullock must cope with some dark memories.
Pre-Batman Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) is in grave danger in Gotham 1x06. Gordon and Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) are expected to keep the young man safe.
This week's new episode promo also includes Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) and Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith). Liza (Makenzie Leigh) is expected to come through for her "momma," Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith).
Carmine Falcone (John Doman) walks into Mooney's trap. Oswald Cobblepot secures his place in Maroni's lair. Mooney remains clueless that Penguin is still alive. Gordon has to face the repercussions of his past actions. These and more await in Gotham Season 1, Episode 6.
