"Gotham" is a highly anticipated series that would soon be premiering on FOX TV. There are a slew of spoilers making rounds of the Internet. Firstly, the series is based on Pre-Batman Gotham period and would feature Bruce Wayne and Detective James Gordon and Detecive Bullock in the main roles.

According to various reports, in the first episode the duo would be solving the murder mystery of Thomas and Martha Wayne. James and Bullock and would devise a plan to find the killers of Wayne's parents. Each episode would deal with various crimes in the Gotham City.

James Gordon is being played by Ben McKenzie of "O.C" fame and David Mazouz is playing Bruce Wayne. Meanwhile, Ben recently suffered a head injury while shooting a scene for series. The 36-year-old hunk took to Instagram to share the photo of the accident.

He captioned the photos as "Holy concrete wall, Batman! #gotham," he captioned an image, adding, "Happy Birthday to me. Fight sequence gone awry. Don't ram your head into concrete pillars kids. #gotham."

Moreover, inspite of sustaining an injury, Ben looked in high spirits during "Gotham's" NYC premiere on Monday, Sept. 15 "He's an old-school hero in an antihero age and I think that's kind of refreshing," he told US Weekly about his role, adding, "So hopefully, they can kind of root for him as he battles these bad guys."

It was also reported by Hit Fix that the premiere episode would unravel Bruce Wayne's life as a young man. This would be shown in the first five minutes of the pilot. Jada Pinkett Smith would play the mother of evil and would be a major influence for all the villains.

"A lot of people say she is the mother of evil and has influenced some of the villains that we know already. When I prepared for the role, I did a mashup of Griselda Blanco and Norma Desmond," Smith said about her character to The Hollywood Reporter.
