The Grammy Nominations night is set to begin on Friday. Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have been added to the list of artists who will be performing live at this year's "Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! - Countdown to Music's Biggest Night," show. The star studded event will kick off at 10 p.m. EST on CBS and promises to showcase many other artists.

Katy Perry, who is high on success of her recently released album "Prism" will perform live from Canada while seven-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift will perform from Australia, where she is currently doing the concerts.

Other stars expected to perform in the show are new rising pop star Lorde, members of Earth, Wind and Fire, T.I., Robin Thicke, R&B singer Miguel, country singer Keith Urban, Drake and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis!

New Zealand borne "Royals" singer Lorde is expected to not only perform at the Grammy nomination concert this Friday but also take home the coveted award. The 17-year-old singer, whose real name is Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor, released her debut album "Pure Heroine," on September 30 and single "Royals" has held the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart for nine weeks. Lorde also released the music video of "Team" which is her second single from the album which is currently a big hit on Vevo.

The show would be hosted by our regular Grammy host LL Cool J along with Arsenio Hall, Enrique Iglesias and Ed Sheeran. The show will announce nominations in several categories as well as feature performances by past Grammy winners and nominees.

It will be the first time that Friday has been chosen to be the day for the Grammy Nominations Concert on CBS instead of a Wednesday. It will help the channel to promote the show over the weekend.

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards take place in Los Angeles and will air live on CBS on January 26th, 2014, starting at 8 p.m. EST. Ahead of the big night, the Grammys will honor Carole King, who will receive the "MusiCares 2014 Person of the Year" award on January 24th.The Grammy night in January will witness the performances from Lady Gaga, the Dixie Chicks, Steven Tyler, James Taylor, Bette Midler and Jason Mraz.
