Upon Sam Smith’s win of four Grammys, hit song “Stay With Me” reaches more than 234 million views on YouTube with more than 1 million likes. The song won Song Of The Year at the 2015 Grammy Awards beating Sia’s “Chandelier,” Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and Hozier’s “Take Me To Church.”

In addition, “Stay With Me” won Record Of The Year at the 2015 Grammy Awards over “Shake It Off,” Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” featuring Charli XCX, Sia’s “Chandelier” and Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass.”

“Stay With Me” is from Smith’s debut album “In The Lonely Hour,” which also won Best Pop Vocal Album. It beat Coldplay’s “Ghost Stories,” Miley Cyrus’ “Bangerz,” Ariana Grande’s “My Everything,” Katy Perry’s “Prism” and Ed Sheeran’s “x.”

“It's reaching more people than I'll ever be able to speak to in my life. There’s a lot of people out there that the song resonated with. It's so touching to be a part of it,” the 2015 Grammy’s Best New Artist told Rolling Stone.

“This is the best night of my life,” Smith said during the 2015 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 8, Sunday. He went on to thank the man who the record was about. The man apparently was someone he fell in love with in 2014.

According to Smith, he tried to lose weight and was making awful music but it was only until he began to be himself that “the music flowed and the people started to listen.” Watch the “Stay With Me” music video here:
