CBS officials have issued a memo Wednesday asking performers and personalities to come covered up at the 2013 Grammy Awards Sunday as they grace the most prestigious awards event in the music scene.

Issued by the networks Standards and Practices department, the advisory serves as request for Grammy performers to keep their buttocks, nipples and genitals fully covered as they walk the red carpet and while performing on-stage.

The memo titled “Wardrobe Advisory” was emailed by the network and first obtained and reported by Deadline.

"Thong type costumes are problematic," the advisory noted, according to the Los Angeles Times. "Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic."

The CBS officials expressed concerns on the potential wardrobe malfunctions such as the nipple exposure suffered by Janet Jackson while performing with Justin Timberlake onstage.

They reminded the artists to avoid wearing “sheer see-through clothing” that could ‘possibly expose female breast nipples,’ added the LA Times, noting to avoid the use of “puffy bare skin exposure” near the genitals.
.
Pointing out that “obscenity in the clothing is not acceptable” the networks also warned against ensemble with personal advocies, political inclinations and prints in foreign language.
