Canadian grandparents expressed their forgiveness to their granddaughter who reportedly stole $110,000 or all their retirement savings. The stolen money was used to buy clothes, drugs, motorbike and swimming pool.

Grandfather Aubrey Cameron, 84, stored all his retirement funds inside a cedar chest which went missing over a year and a half. When he informed this to his wife Barbara, she was both shocked and mad. The couple believed it was safe to keep the money at home. Then they came to know that the money was stolen by Jillian, their own granddaughter, 27 and her boyfriend.

CBC reported Barbara felt terrible to know that Jillian took all their money. She could not believe it this could be done to them. The Cameron couple got back only $32,000 of the stolen amount as the rest of the amount was already spent by Jillian for buying clothes, drugs, motorbike and swimming pool.

The grandparents believed their granddaughter made friends with the wrong kind of people. Jillian asked for forgiveness from her grandmother as she confessed she was really sorry for doing such act. Even though the grandparents lost most of what they saved all their life, they are willing to forgive their granddaughter. They believed Jillian definitely deserves one more chance.

Barbara said she hopes Jillian would realize how she hurt her grandparents. She believed their granddaughter would become a better person henceforth. Aubrey has admitted that he loved his granddaughter "to death."

Jillian, meanwhile, pleaded guilty to unlawfully being in a dwelling with the intent to commit theft while her boyfriend pleaded guilty to break and enter. Jillianand her boyfriend will be sentenced in February 2014.
