The host of Seven Network's "Million Dollar Minute," Grant Denyer, is leaving the quiz show to spend quality time with his family. The actor, 36, had joined the show just two months ago after quitting his job as "Sunrise" weather presenter.

The actor cited the "gruelling production schedule" as one of the main reasons for quitting "Million Dollar Minute." The schedule kept him away from his family for a longer time.

"This has been a difficult decision because I love the show (Million Dollar Minute), but it's in the best interests of my family at this time and as much as I love working on the show, I know it's the right decision," said Denyer in the statement, as quoted by Sydney Morning Herald.

At the time of leaving "Sunrise," Denyer had given the reason of "exhaustion" and had complained that he lost weight because of that.

Simon Reeve, news presenter at Seven, will now don the host hat for "Million Dollar Minute."

Adam Hills, comedian and T.V. presenter, has also announced that he is quitting television for a year. Through his blog, he announced that he would not present "Adam Hills Tonight" ABC1 in 2014.

On his blog, Adam Hills said that he needs rest and seeks to recharge to "come-up with something new and funny to say." Additionally, Hills, 43, and his wife are expecting their second child and the comedian wants to make his daughter happy.

"... my wife and I are expecting our second child any day, and I don't want to be so busy making other people laugh that I don't make my own daughters happy."

Hill assured his fans that he will be back in 2015, with "laptop full of new ideas." Hills added: "The mere fact that I will be the father of two girls means I will need to get back to work as soon as possible, in order to pay for whatever outrageous demands teenagers will have in 2023, so rest assured I will be banging on the ABC's door before the end of the year with a whole laptop full of new ideas, and may even resurrect Adam Hills Tonight in 2015 if anyone will let me."
