Arnold Schwarzenegger

Before he became a big movie star and a politician, Schwarzenegger was a professional body builder. He had won Mr. Universe at the age of 20. As a professional body builder, he had received numerous awards. He filmed 30 movies since 1970. His biggest break was when he starred in the movie Terminator.

Jason Lee

A lot of people do not know that American actor and comedian Jason Lee is a professional skateboarder. He was very popular during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Lee has made 45 movies to date. He has appeared in the Alvin and the Chipmunks movies. He has also starred on his own show titled My Name is Earl.

John Cena

John Cena first made his name known in wrestling. He still wrestles. Currently, he is the World Heavyweight Champion and it is his third reign. He made 7 movies so far. Aside from being an actor and a wrestler, Cena is also a rapper.

Mark Harmon

Back in his college days, Harmon used to play football. In his senior year, he received the National Football Award for All-Round Excellence. Harmon is best known for his role in the hit TV series NCIS.

Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne, aka The Rock, Johnson has played football in his college days. He is a semi-retired professional wrestler. He had won 17 championships in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He has appeared both on film and television. He started acting in 1999 and he has remained active ever since.

Chuck Norris

Norris is a master of martial arts. He used his expertise in martial arts in movies like Missing in Action, The Way of the Dragon, The Delta Force, and Firewalker. He was a natural action star.

The list could go on. There were just so many athletes who have also tried a shot at acting. There were some who did okay and then there were others who were just plain horrible. It is really uncommon to see a person becomes successful at being both an athlete and an actor, at the same time.
