Former first overall pick Greg Oden has reportedly narrowed down his choices to two teams, saying he was most intrigued by the Western Conference rising power New Orleans Pelicans and the defending NBA champ Miami Heat.

Oden, the no. 1 overall pick in 2007 NBA Draft, was expected to announce his decision as early as Monday following a private workout in front of several trams last week.

Among his suitors, the Pelicans and the Heat reportedly piqued the curiosity of Oden, who's looking for an NBA return after spending the past two seasons rehabbing his knees.

Sources indicated Oden looked lean and agile in the workouts without showing any signs of pain or swelling in his surgically-repaired knees.

The Pelicans can offer as much $3 million per year for Oden, while the Heat didn't have enough cap space to offer big paycheck but can provide the big man a chance of winning an NBA title alongside LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
