Grey's Anatomy Patrick Dempsey wants Dr. McDreamy to take a break
Is Dr. McDreamy getting tired of picking on a patient's brain? Patrick Dempsey, the actor who plays Seattle Grace Hospital neurosurgeon, says he wants to see Derek takes a break from surgery and build his and Meredith Grey's dream house.
The Hollywood heartthrob told TV Guide of his "future plan" for his Grey's Anatomy character. "Give up surgery for a while and concentrate on building his house and getting his priorities in line. He'd float in and out of the hospital to consult on certain cases."
Let's see if Dr. Derek Sheperd won't do a Chief Webber (who spent most of his time in the hospital). Will Meredith and Derek finally build their dream house in next season? We'll be rooting for that, afterall Grey's house is starting to resemble Big Brothers! (No more strays!, says Derek to Grey in the fifth season.)
Patrick Dempsey and co-star Meredith Grey, who plays Meredith Grey, appears on the cover of TV Guide's September 27 - October 3 issue.
