While Cristina tries to avoid talking about it, her best friend Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) insists on raising a toast to her accomplishments. However, Meredith and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) show signs of jealousy. Elsewhere, Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) share their desire to have another child.

Cristina's Big Moment: Cristina prepares for her big day. According to the synopsis (as published by Wetpaint) she "enlists" her best friend to assist her in writing an acceptance speech for her probable win. Even though it appears that the twisted sisters have finally resolved differences, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) did discover Meredith's real feelings behind the happy face she is trying hard to put up. Meanwhile, Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) insists to accompany Cristina on her big day, but she denies the offer. She insists on going alone. Derek is swamped and he may land himself in a fight with his wife in Operation Theater. Two women possibly named Nova and Chelsea will come to the hospital seeking medical help for Nova's frequent seizures problem. Another case involves a surgery on a patient with large scissors stuck in his skull.
