Grey's Anatomy Season 10 marks a brand new chapter in the life of Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), who still has a shot at a happy ending, thank to Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington). Good news to Jolex fans: Most of the interns have been promoted to regular cast status.

Four out of five interns have been promoted to regular cast, meaning more storylines involving them on Grey’s Anatomy Season 10. Camilla Luddington (Jo), Gaius Charles (Shane), Jerrika Hinton (Stephanie), and Tessa Ferrer (Lea) are now series regulars. Tina Majorino (Heather) would have signed on, too, if she didn’t have a previous commitment with TNT’s Legends. (Credit: Ton Tom/ABC via Wetpaint)

Camilla Luddington (Jo), Gaius Charles (Shane), Jerrika Hinton (Stephanie), and Tessa Ferrer (Lea) are now series regulars. Tina Majorino (Heather) would have signed on, too, if she didn't have a previous commitment with TNT's Legends, TV Line reported.

Jolex fans should be celebrating this new development. Camilla and Justin have built such a strong chemistry on screen albeit the pair started on some rather awkward circumstances. They had a moment on Grey's Season 9 finale, and Jolex fans are hoping they don't backslide from there.

Meanwhile, Grey's Anatomy writer and producer shouted out an interesting note on Twitter recently. Tony Phelan teased fans, "Grey's Writers Room shuts down for hiatus. Get ready - cause there's a whole mess of drama coming in Ep. 1001-1003 & then ... the 200th ep!" Uh-oh, Calzona fans fear their favourite couple will be front and center of this fourth episode in Season 10.

Callie and Arizona are not officially over yet. There's still about 80% chance they could work things out. Cristina and Owen, well, they are 99% over. In contrast, there is 90% chance Chief Webber is dead. These are the dramas of Grey's 9 finale. So much has been going on, that MerDer's baby birth is a little further into the backseat. And this is why Jolex fans are hanging onto their favourite couple. Jo and Alex are perhaps the happiest characters in the show, placing close second to Meredith and Derek.
