"Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 premieres Sept. 25, 2014. The eleventh instalment of the long-running medical drama opens with an explosive episode titled "I Must Have Lost it on the Wind. Episode 1 will see the effects of the exit of Sandra Oh's character Cristina Yang on the lives of her loved ones. Network has released a new promo video from Episode 1 "I Must Have Lost it on the Wind" and it teases lots of drama and action. The trailer shows a major accident and Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital doctors back on their duty. Based on the video, fans can expect to see Owen Hunt, Callie, Arizona and Jo working together on the couple who met with an accident and were found stuck in a truck's front seat. While the girl says that she feels alright, Jo insists to check again if she has any wounds and they discover a severe wound on her head that is bleeding profusely. Meanwhile, Jo holds the boy who seemed to have hurt is neck severely.

Meanwhile, new images providing a sneak peek at "Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 Episode 1 have emerged. The Hollywood Gossip has created a gallery of sorts revealing what one could expect in episode "I Must Have Lost in on the Wind." The images show Meredith and her half-sister Maggie (Kelly McCreary) working on a case together. However, it seems she is oblivious to the fact that the new cardiothoracic head is a daughter of her mother Ellis Grey and Dr. Richard.

The photos show that their patient is severely wounded. Furthermore, fans can expect to see Arizona and Callie "happy once again."

Earlier, ABC released detailed synopsis of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 Episode 1 (Premiere) "I Must Have Lost it on the Wind." The synopsis hints at Meredith's emotional struggle to survive without her person (Cristina Yang). To add to her misery, her conflict with Derek over his new job in Washington DC remains unresolved. While Derek is adamant to take up the new job away from Seattle, Meredith wants him to stick to his present job at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Furthermore, the premiere will see Callie and Arizona make an important decision of their lives regarding surrogacy. Meanwhile, Derek's sister Amelia will end up catching a "big secret." As for Bailey, she finds herself battling with Alex for Cristina's position on Board of directors.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 Episode 1 is written by Stacy McKee and directed by Kevin McKidd, the actor who portrays Dr. Owen Hunt. The show will see the return of several main cast members such as Chandra Wilson, Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, Sarah Drew and more. In addition, fans will also witness Oscar Winning actress Geena Davis' "Grey's" debut.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 premieres Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
