"Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 winter premiere is almost a month away. However, fans are already excited to know what happens next. Viewers must brace themselves for an exciting new storyline that might be introduced when the show returns. According to a latest report, things might heat up between Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone). Read on to find out the details.

Ever since Cristina Yang bid goodbye to Grey Sloan Memorial hospital, speculations about Owen's lovelife have been running rampant. Amelia's presence further fuelled up the rumours. However, it seems there is some truth to the theory.

According to a spoilers report by TV Line, Owen and Amelia may find themselves attracted to each other. Callie will be supporting Owen to move on and take the big plunge. For the most part of the 11th season, fans have seen Owen struggling to put his past with Cristina behind. Meanwhile, Amelia has also been trying to overcome her complicated past.

"Look for Owen and Callie to encourage each other to get back in the dating scene in early 2015. I hear the former will test the waters with a certain female doc with the initials 'AS.' Hint No. 2: She has substance abuse issues. Hint No. 3: She's related to Derek. Hint No. 4: She's pictured to the right," reads the article by the abovementioned entertainment news publication.

The speculations about Owen-Amelia romance have been swirling around for a long time. Previously, Shonda Rimes, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, did not rule out the possibility of Owen finding new love. "I'm going to do it instinctively. I'm not going to go, 'Oh, it's time to put him with this character; we're going to put a girl here and see what happens,'" Shonda Rhimes explained.

This is not the first time rumours about Owen and Amelia romance have surfaced. In November, in its spoilers report, TV Line stated that "sparks will indeed fly between Owen and Amelia." Do you think it's the right time for Owen to start dating?
