Grey's Anatomy Season 9 finale is coming up soon. The creative team will soon deliver the conclusion to this chapter, which creator Shonda Rhimes called "the season of romance." This early avid Grey viewers are speculating on what awaits the lovestruck couples of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Here is a set of speculations on Grey's Anatomy couples, from "Calzona" to "Crowen."

Calzona. Callie and Arizona have survived the biggest crisis they've ever had to face since the tragic car accident that almost got Callie killed in Grey's Anatomy Season 7 finale. It is unlikely for these two to come face-to-face with misery again.

Merder. [SPOILER ALERT] Meredith and Derek are having a boy! If tragedy find its way back to this couple, it will most likely involve the baby. So far, however, despite Meredith's fears, it seems all shall be well with their little Derek.

Japril. Jackson had once asked April to marry him. Sure, it was when they both thought she was pregnant. But he was not about to take back his proposal. But April has been such an emotional-mental mess right from the start. It seems there will be one more kiss for this couple on or before the Season 9 finale.

Jolex. Jo Wilson has been called an "attack dog" for aggressively fighting for what she thought belonged to Karev. Jolex shippers are almost certain this couple will confront their feelings this season. It's really about time for Karev.

Crowen. Cristina and Owen are not likely to tie the knot again. They are at their best outside a marriage. However, it remains to be seen how Owen feels now about having a child. There could be another bout of conflict for them.

Grey's Anatomy Season 9 returns on Good Friday via (Mar. 28) U.S. network ABC. "Scrubs" star Sarah Chalke guest stars as troubled mom looking for a proper diagnosis to her son's condition.
