Grey's Anatomy is opening its doors to new medical professionals next season. Fans will also meet a patient in Season 9 premiere, and she will be hanging around, indefinitely.

(Be warned, there are Season 8 and Season 9 spoilers ahead.)

With this fresh roundup of spoilers, new speculations emerge as to what could develop next fall in Grey's.

Hiring: Four medical professionals in Grey's Anatomy

Based on a TV Line scoop, Grey's show runners are currently casting for a certain Dr. Parker. He or She is somewhere between 40 and 50 years old, and a competent physician. Is his competence along the ranks of celebrated neurosurgeon Dr. Shepherd?

Another medical professional is wanted, a certain Dr. Mel Barnett. It is quite challenging to speculate on ambiguous names, but what fans could tell is that Grey's will try to fill the void left by Kim Raver (Dr. Altman) and Chyler Leigh (Little Grey), who both left in the Season 8 finale.

Two more medical professionals will be added into the ensemble. They are "a man and a woman who are 'smart' and 'not Hollywood handsome/pretty.'"

This means four doctors are already in line to replace the two who left. But wait, Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes has strongly hinted almost two months ago that someone else could still die following last season's tragic plane crash.

Premiere patient is funny, smart and pretty

Aside from the four new med professionals, a scoop from E! hints one of the patients in the Season 9 premiere will appear for not just one episode. "(The) viewers will meet a patient who will have a major presence throughout the season," E! reports.

How "major" could this major presence be? Will she provide a new love story for Alex Karev (Justin Chambers)? Funny, smart and pretty seems to be his type.

New Speculations: Numbers game on surgeons

Four doctors coming in, three doctors up for surgery, one fatality. Only two doctors were really gone. Altman will no longer be around should Sloan (Eric Dane) need a surgery for his heart. Yang (Sandra Oh) would also need to recuperate. Will the new doctor be a heart surgeon?

Sarah Drew, who plays boards-failer April Kepner, has already confirmed she will be back next season. Kepner was fired over funds issue, but with Little Grey gone, things could now be re-arranged. Now who would the new docs replace?

Rhimes and the Grey's team are doing a great job in keeping the fans hanging. Three more months to go!
