Grigor Dimitrov Will Be The Guest Editor Of ATP Insider
Once a month, the stars of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour are featured as a guest editor on the ATP Insider. Grigor Dimitrov will be on the October's special edition of the ATP's weekly newsletter.
According to the Official Site of Men's Professional Tennis, the ATP Insider guest edited by Dimitrov will be out on Oct. 30. The Bulgarian tennis athlete will reportedly talk about a number of things such as "craziest thing he has ever done for a girl," "his reaction to the haircut that Andy Murray gave him in Rome," and some of his "best shots" of the current season.
Dimitrov will also try to answer questions from fans, who can submit by posting on ATP's Facebook account.
"We're in for a fun time as Grigor Dimitrov takes over the ATP Insider this month," said in the post. "He'll be answering your best questions, so post them here."
Some fans have already posted their questions, ranging from serious to really funny ones. One fan asked Dimitrov if he has ever played against Maria Sharapova. Another one asked when Dimitrov thinks he will rule the top of the world rankings. Some fans also wanted to know the tournaments that he will be competing in the next season.
Here are some of the silly questions that fans want Dimitrov to answer; "Would you marry me?", "Do you like the taste of Masha's candies?", "Do you plan on proposing to Sharapova anytime soon?" and "Will you invite Maria to visit Bulgaria?" among others.
The first player featured on the ATP Insider was Tomas Berdych in June, followed by Vasek Pospisil, John Isner, and rising Aussie tennis star Nick Kyrgios. The ATP Insider provides behind-the-scene news, pictures, videos, and more, bringing tennis fans closer to the players on tour.
Dimitrov last played in the 2014 If Stockholm Open, where he failed to defend his title after losing to Berdych in the finals, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4. Dimitrov currently competes in the 2014 Swiss Indoors. He is seeded fifth in the tournament and will play against German wild card Alexander Zverev in the first round. If Dimitrov wins, his next match will be against Pospisil, who defeated Jarkko Nieminen of Finland 6-3, 6-7 (4), 6-4 in the opener.
