‘Grimm’ Season 6 return date announced, Bitsie Tulloch tweets birthday love for boyfriend David Giuntoli
David turns 36 on June 18!
“Grimm” Season 6 returns to NBC later this year, and cast member Bitsie Tulloch has announced the date. She also gave her co-star and boyfriend David Giuntoli a shout-out for his June 18 birthday.
Spoiler alert: This update contains some ‘Grimm’ Season 6 spoilers, with details from the fifth season. NBC has earlier confirmed at least 13 episodes for the show’s sixth season. There is no confirmation that it will be the show’s final season despite the fewer episodes ordered. Depending on ratings, NBC could still decide to order more episodes or cancel the series.
Bitsie Tulloch reveals ‘Grimm’ Season 6 return date
In a Facebook video with Sebastian Roché, Tulloch answers a fan question on “Grimm” Season 6 and announced that it will return to NBC on October 28. Bitsie and Roché were in Utah, filming “We Love You, Sally Carmichael,” with first-time movie director Christopher Gorham.
For fans of “Once Upon A Time,” “Grimm” and “Supernatural,” these Facebook videos are definitely worth watching. Roché has appeared on both “Grimm” and “Supernatural” while Gorham was once on “Once Upon A Time.”
Fans who were missing Giuntoli in the video asked Tulloch where he was at the moment. The actress said her boyfriend was in Australia at the time (for a comic con), but they would see each other in a couple of days.
Bitsie Tulloch and David Giuntoli: ‘Grimm’ fate unclear, but love story in real life is solid
“Happy birthday to my love David Giuntoli!” Tulloch posted on June 18 on Facebook, surprising followers who did not know the two have been dating in real life. Their followers on Twitter, however, have been witnessing their DDA (digital display of affection). See Tulloch’s birthday tweet here.

Giuntoli, who has just turned 36, is currently busy promoting his new movie, “Buddymoon.” It comes out on July 1, but it is available for pre-order beginning his birthday weekend. Giuntoli co-wrote the film with Flula Borg. “Grimm” cast member Claire Coffee is also in this movie.
Sean Renard is a big villain in ‘Grimm’ Season 6
Giuntoli has earlier revealed (with some reservations) that Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) will be the big bad in “Grimm” Season 6.
The manner by which the “Grimm” Season 5 finale unfolded does leave an evil path wide open for Sean Renard to take. Now that Conrad Bonaparte (Shaun Toub) is dead, some fans are convinced that Renard will both be mayor of Portland and head of Black Claw.
Despite Sean’s power, his little girl Diana is able to simply make him do things like killing his superior (consequently saving Nick’s life). This control factor is expected to continue to play out on “Grimm” Season 6.
When “Grimm” Season 6 returns to NBC on October 28, fans will be taken back to Nick’s place, where Sean killed Conrad Bonaparte under Diana’s control. Questions on Tulloch’s character situation will also be answered – Is she still Eve now that she is “feeling a lot,” or is Eve gone as a side effect of the magic healing stick?
