Group launches “AUSTRALIA … NO WORRIES” to attract young Americans to live a new American dream in “The Land Down Under”
A team of visa specialists have launched the website, www.australianoworries.com, to assist young Americans navigate the Australian Work and Holiday Visa, introduced in only 2008.
"Living, working and playing in Australia has just got easier," said founder, Patrick Hynes.
The visa allows Americans, aged 18-30, to work legally anywhere in Australia and to stay for up to 12 months.
"Our company assists qualified applicants to slice through the red tape on the way to accessing this exciting visa opportunity," Hynes said. "The company name, Australia ... No Worries, says it all!"
("No worries" is a widely used phrase in everyday Australia. It represents a feeling of friendliness, good humor and optimism. It is the Australian equivalent to "no problem.")
"The visa provides the perfect opportunity for new graduates or the recently unemployed to have the adventure of a lifetime. What better way to wait out employment doldrums in the United States? Hopefully they will return, with a year's work experience under their belts, to a brighter economy and a job environment that is more attractive," Hynes said.
Visitors to www.australianoworries.com may fill out a brief Free Assessment Form that enables visa consultant, Alberta Miculan, to quickly determine eligibility for the Work and Holiday Visa.
With 15 years of experience as Senior Migration Officer at the Australian Department of Immigration in Los Angeles, Ms. Miculan is able to easily manage the paperwork requirements - a less stressful pathway to getting the final visa.
Since its inception a little more than two years ago the Australian Work and Holiday Visa has allowed over 10,000 young Americans to travel to Australia and work in such varied fields as hotels, tourism, banking and agriculture.
"It's the perfect way to get job experience, enjoy a different culture and make new friends," Hynes said.
Ms. Miculan's work as an Australian migration and visa consultant has made her a "go to" specialist for Americans traveling "Down Under" - whether it's a quick trip, work and play, education, or a successful new venture.
She can assist applicants with tourist visas, permanent residence, student visas, retirement, business visas and citizenship.
"There's a lot more to 'the land of Oz' than cuddly koalas, bouncing kangaroos and brilliant beaches. Visitors will find a unique lifestyle and a vibrant economy that escaped the widespread worldwide recession. Jobs are plentiful," Hynes said.
"Who knows, some may never return!"
The company is also able to leverage its experience and business contacts to offer connections to travel, accommodation and employment resources throughout Australia.
