‘GTA Online’ gets new Power Play maps, Dewbauchee Seven and Independence Day discounts

It’s time to make a trip back to “GTA Online” thanks to a new event. Players will be treated to the debut of the Dewbauchee Seven-70, which is now available via Legendary Motorsport.

Developer Rockstar Games is also rolling out three new locations for the Power Play battle mode. It’s the player’s choice to take on opponents in the Los Santos International Airport, the Port of Los Santos or the banks of the Alamo Sea.

Xbox Achievements managed to get its hands on the Dewbauchee Seven-70, and it seems like quite a handful on the wallet. Since it is supposedly a limited edition ride, the car costs $695,000. It comes in eight colours, and holds a very aspirational place in the maker’s heart.

In line with the event, there’s also an ongoing Double GTA$ and RP Playlist that will run until July 8, all of which will showcase the three maps. For the weekend, the Double GTA$ and RP Playlist will feature Aircraft Carrier and Bolingbroke Prison as well as the Trading Places event at Redwood Lights Track.

The sales included in the week-long event will see offices and office interiors at 20 percent discount. Still celebrating the Further Adventures in Finance and Felony update, the sale will allow aspiring CEO characters to get their operations going. All Warehouse Workbench Upgrades will also enjoy a 15 percent discount.

Warstock Cache & Carry will hold an ongoing half-price discount on the Savage helicopter. “GTA Online” players who need to store some of their vehicles can also get some garage property on sale at 25 percent discount.

To celebrate the last hurrah of July 4, there’s also an ongoing Independence Day special content discount. Deck out in Independence Day items and vehicles like the couple in the image above. The 25 percent discount will be available on the Liberator monster trick, the Sovereign motorcycle, the Musket, the Firework Rocket Launcher and ammo and all special patriotic gear and apparel.
